Description of Sub-project 4
|
|
|
|
|
Sub-Project 4 (Horizontal Activities) contains the Consortium Management as well as other activities that cut across the sub-projects 1-3, including dissemination and exploitation, guidelines and standards and review and assessment of the project results and achievements. SP4 has the following general objectives:
- To perform the general management process for the project and produce plans for quality- and gender management.
- To perform the dissemination and exploitation activities and deliver the plan for dissemination and use of the results.
- To review the existing guidelines and standards for IVIS and ADAS interface design, which are critical for work in Sub-Projects 1, 2 and 3.
- To review & assess the project results and achievements following a defined review & assessment plan and methodology.
The activities in SP4 are rather heterogeneous and have been gathered together for organisational rather than technical reasons.

4.0.1 Interaction Plan, M13-30
The present report describes achieved and planned interactions, both between the AIDE subprojects as well as between AIDE and other related projects. The report focuses mainly on interactions during the M13-30 period and is expected to be updated for the next period (M25 - 42).

4.1.1 Financial management plan

4.1.2 Quality Management Plan
The Quality Plan is the document setting out the quality assurance procedures for the AIDE project. Its aim is to assure that the results and deliverables of the project are of high quality and meet the specifications set in the project Description of Work.

4.1.3 Gender Equality Plan
An increased gender equal recruitment procedure of employees and managers gives optimal use of the existing resources. The AIDE consortium is aware of this and the current situation of gender diversity will be monitored during the execution of the project.

4.1.4-1 Annual Activity Report: Year 1
The general objective of the AIDE IP is to generate the knowledge and develop the methodologies and human machine interface technologies required for safe and efficient integration of multiple driver assistance and information functions into the driving environment.

This deliverable aims to describe the discussions that took place during the 1st User Forum Workshop which was held at BAST premises, in Cologne, Germany, on 15-16 of March 2005 and organized by the AIDE consortium.

4.2.2 Dissemination materials including web site
This document intents to present the dissemination plan developed for AIDE project. Dissemination activities are crucial for promoting the deployment of the AIDE results. Only if the results are widely deployed by the automotive industry, and accepted by the end users, they will have a real impact on road safety. The AIDE IP includes major efforts in this area.

4.2.3 Initial Exploitation Plans
This initial expoitation plan gives an overview over the existing results in the integrated project "Adaptive integrated Driver Vehicle Interface" (AIDE) and a perspective on expected final results. The document separates the results following the project structure into four sub-project sections.

4.2.4 Updated Dissemination Plan
Since the early stages of the project, a concise dissemination plan was designed in order to assist the effective use of resources allocated to the dissemination task. To this plan the target groups were defined and the relevant communication channels for each target group were specified.

4.3.1 Report on the review of the available guidelines and standards
This report presents a review of available guidelines and standards relevant to HMI development of IVIS and ADAS. The survey was focused on documents covering the scope of HMI in the fields of system design and message prioritisation, evaluation and assessment, and development process.
